As a qualified workplace trainer, I was very much questioning the value of attending a course with similar learning outcomes to those I had already completed. As the Facilitators Odyssey handbook states however, the learning outcomes achieved in this program, are dictated by the person undertaking the journey of discovery, not by rigid course outlines. It was this difference that made for such profound learning to take place.

To some people, relating this information to how you perform within the workplace is too far a path to travel. I, however, found that the entire 3 days reinforced certain beliefs that I had, and also created a stronger awareness to those beliefs I still needed to develop to reach my full potential as a manager in our organisation. This was all done entirely through embracing new experiential based philosophies and concepts. The more you put into this style of course and activities, the more you get out of them."
